Quick Tip: Continuous Yellow Line = No Standing

Introduced back in 1999, the rule of a continuous yellow line marked on the side of the road signifies 'No Standing'.

Be vigilant of yellow line markings as they are in place to provide safe road conditions for motorists and pedestrians.

Failure to obey this road rule can result in an infringement notice being issued with fines ranging up to a maximum of $2000.00.

If you are unsure on the current road rules, take a moment to visit your local Department of Transport website to find out the latest news and rulings.

Take care and drive safe!
