Love Your Car Cup / Drink Holder?

The nifty invention of the cup / drink holder in your car has been a fantastic idea that has proven to help those that need their early morning coffee fix while on their way to work, or those that simply love to have access to their favourite cold or hot beverage whilst travelling.

If you are renting a vehicle and find that your car comes equipped with your beloved cup / drink holder, then a key tip is to always test out your drink's stability for that holder.

While it may sound a little silly, keep in mind that cup / drink holders are not designed the same and some may hold a normal bottle well, while others simply provide drinks the ability to move around quite easily. There are holders that are shallow (not great for tall drinks), and ones that are larger in diameter (allows movement for slender bottles and cups).

So to avoid any nasty fees for making an accidental mess to your hire car's upholstery, test out how well your drink fits into the holder before you embark on your journey.
